Heavy Metals and Flavanols in cocoa

Cacao naturally contains trace amounts of heavy metals from the soil. The levels in Mindkore cacao are well below strict EU and WHO limits: cadmium (0.737 ppm), lead (0.061 ppm), and arsenic (0.024 ppm) are all within safe ranges, while mercury is not detectable. These are normal background values found in all cacao and do not indicate contamination.

Mindkore cacao contains over 12.6% cocoa flavanols, an exceptionally high level compared to most cocoa powders. Flavanols are beneficial plant compounds that are studied and can support blood flow, focus, and antioxidant protection. In simple terms: out of 100 g of powder, around 12.6g are flavanols, one of the highest concentrations you can find in natural cacao.
